Account loss
You are responsible on your own for the safety of the account data we delivered you.
All needed provisions are done from our side and there are no technical problems.
All other things are in the responsibility of the player.
- Make sure to have a anti virus tool and a good firewall
- Be careful with your data and do not give them to someone else.
- Only enter your data at the official Metin-2.com page and at the login window of the client.
We are not able to do more and §12.4 and §12.5 of our T&Cs coming into force.
Since the 19th of October 2007 you are able to change the E-Mail address again if it has been changed without your knowledge out of any reasons.

Forgot your password
Please go to our homepage http://www.metin-2.com and click onto "Forgot password" next to the login. Choose which password you need and fill out the needed fields. After that the password is sent to the E-Mail address which is set in your account settings.
Entered the wrong password 3 times
Out of security reasons your account is going to be banned after the password has been entered wrong 3 times.
You are going to get a reactivation mail to your E-Mail address which is registered in your account. Some users are able to find that mail in their spam folder so please have a careful look into your E-Mail folder
Click onto the provided reactivation link and change your password in the account settings afterwards.
Now you are able to login at Metin2 again
If you do not get a reactivation mail please think if one of the following points applies
1. Is it possible that you violated the game rules and got banned by us?
2. Do you have open requests at Gamepay? If yes, you may got banned by Gamepay. To get more informations about that please also ask at http://support.gamepay.de
If you have been banned by Gamepay or us you are not going to receive a reactivation mail for your account.
If not of these applies to you you are able to contact us here.
Didn´t receive DragonCoins
It is only possible to contact Gamepay because of that problem.
Please explain your case at http://support.gamepay.de
The Support Team is going to contact you within of 2 working days.
Insult
The GameMasters (GM) and also the Support takes care of insults and such words which should be filtered.
We are not able to punish every insult which are sometimes also in normal words. Naturally we are anxious to have a nice level of communication. Most things could be clarified also without a GM.
Should you feel harassed by another player you have still the choice to switch the channel. We are not able to accept a Screenshot as proof as the technical methods to fake them is to big.
You are still allowed to send us a notify about a player with the words he/she said and the player name. As the case may be we are going to contact that player and warn him/her.
If you have been harassed as a person in the real live and are afraid about your personal safety you are able to take a Screenshot and go to the police to set up a report.
Didn´t receive E-Mail
Sadly there are some E-Mail providers which directly block automatically generated mails and do not place them into your inbox at all.
At the moment we know about: Hotmail and GMX
If you are using one of those providers we want to ask you kindly to choose another one and change the E-Mail address in your account to that address.
Lost Items
We refer to §8 from our Terms and Conditions which you should know as you accepted them with the registration of your account.
Trade cheating
There are many player who try to get the better of you. This behaviour is not against any applying rule. We have a list here of cheating trials and possible solutions:
Improve Items:
The other person claims he/she is able to improve, dupen, etc. items
Do not give away your items!!! The just want to get the better of you.
Wrong Item/Wrong Yang amount
If you want to exchange a item, the other one first puts in the right item into the exchange window and you also put in the item. If the trade is ok the other one breaks the trade out of any reason and puts in an item without any value into the next exchange window. (Exampel: Showed 26 armour +7 after that same armour but +0)
If you know accept the exchange you have a item without value and the other one has the good item in his/her inventory.
Before accepting a trade make sure the item/yang is the right one.
You could also have a shop package. Give the package to the seller and ask him to put the item into the shop with the wanted amount + 1 Yang. Then you are able to buy the Item without any further steps and no one is able to cheat you.
Do not get pressured to end a trade fast.
Take the time you need, and if the seller does not have the time he needs to take it or leave it.
Or you are placing the trade at a later time.
Individual agreements like 'I am going to level you against Yang/Items', could not be traced by us.
If someone is going to cheat you there we are not able to help.
Also agreements like 'Give me your weapon/armour I would like to try them' could not be punished by us.
Before accepting such things think about the consequences this may have. Not every player does what he/she says.
